FSC 2025 Spring Season: March – May • Weekly small group sessions + games

Trainings are held at Westlands Park, Washington Park & North Sports field based on your families preference you can pick days, times and locations that suit you bests. Players train in small groups by skill level, not age, so your child is placed with teammates of similar ability — the perfect mix of challenge and confidence every session.

How Weekly Small Group Training Works

  • Spring season: March – May (multi-week training block)
  • Choose your frequency: 1x, 2x, or 3x sessions per week
  • High-repetition training: focused reps, clear coaching, real improvement
  • Levels 1–8: roughly ages 4–15, grouped by skill instead of birth year
  • Small groups: high number of touches and individual attention for each player
Not sure which level is right? You can always schedule a test session so we can place your player in the perfect group.

Training Options by Level

Fussbally uses Levels 1–8 so players train with others of similar ability. Equal skill level is extremely important for progress.

Levels 1–2

Absolute beginners and early beginners

(roughly ages 4–6)
  • Technical Training only
  • Focus on ball mastery, coordination, and basic soccer skills
  • 60-minute sessions
Levels 3–4

Intermediate players

(roughly ages 6–12)
  • Mix of Technical Training and Game Intelligence Training
  • Players can choose only Technical, only Game Intelligence (if available), or a combination
  • 60-minute sessions
Levels 5–8

Advanced and highly advanced players

(roughly ages 8–14)
  • Higher-intensity Technical and Game Intelligence sessions
  • Focus on speed of play, decision making, and small details that separate top players
  • Sessions in the late afternoons and evenings during the week

What We Work On in Weekly Group Training

  • First touch & ball control under pressure – receiving, turning, and protecting the ball
  • Dribbling & 1v1 moves – beating defenders with purpose, not just tricks
  • Finishing & decision making in front of goal – when to shoot, pass, or dribble
  • Passing & combination play – playing quickly with teammates
  • Scanning & awareness – reading the field, finding space, and anticipating the next action

Every session is built so players get lots of touches, clear coaching points, and the chance to immediately apply new skills in small-sided game formats.

Technical Training vs. Game Intelligence Training

Technical Training focuses on the “how” of soccer:

  • Dribbling, ball mastery, and turns
  • Passing and receiving on the move
  • Shooting and different finishing techniques
  • Individual ball control and confidence on the ball

Game Intelligence Training (available for Levels 3–8) focuses on the “why” and “when”:

  • When to pass, dribble, or shoot
  • How to support teammates and create space
  • Defending as a team, pressing, and recovering
  • Understanding basic team shapes and roles
Players can attend only Technical sessions, only Game Intelligence sessions (where available), or a combination of both for the strongest development.

The Game Intelligence training is the team your child will be placed with for the 3v3 tournaments if included.

Investment for the Spring Season

Weekly Frequency Season Investment
1 session per week $370 total
2 sessions per week $649 total
