60 days or more before event start we pay 100% refund - 3% processing fee
60-46 days before event start we pay 100% refund - 3% processing fee - $50 admin fee
45-31 days before event start we pay 80% refund - 3% processing fee or we give 100% credit transfer to any other events
30-21 days before event start we pay 50% refund - 3% processing fee or we give 80% credit transfer to any other events
Less than 20 days before an event start we are giving full credit to future events when there is a medical emergency. Please provide a doctors note for not being able to play. No issues will be able to be provided at that point.
After events start we are not able to provide any credits or refunds for any reason. This includes our camps, our 12 week seasons, tournaments or any other Fussbally events. (Event starts are defined by the first training or games taking place).

Besides the countless hours of organizing events and planning out content. We staff, rent indoor and outdoor field space based on sign ups before events start. When kids are not able to finish a camp or don’t attend all trainings in a season this does not reduce our costs. We employ very qualified coaches with excellent capabilities. To be fair to our top coaches we do not adjust their compensation when less kids attend an event than originally planned. We are also not able to rent less fields with DPR, DPS or other organizations when we need less field space than expected. In other words: Our costs are fixed a least one month before events, we are not able to provide refunds on short notice.

Why our cost consequences stay the same, we understand how much struggle medical emgergancies can cause and rather carry the financial loss than pushing sick children to attend events or families having to carry even more financial burden while having a sick, injured child.

We do offer a lot of flexibility for our Soccer Club members. Both our weekly training sessions and games can be made up anytime andwhere with no questions asked during hr quarter.

Abuse Prevention at Fussbally

At Fussbally abuse prevention plays a very high priority for us an organization. Because of that we are taking multiple measures and regular steps to ensure a safe and positive environment for all participating kids.

More Than Just Soccer

Fussbally’s dedication to abuse prevention reflects its broader commitment to shaping responsible, compassionate young individuals. By focusing on safety, respect, and accountability, Fussbally creates a community where children can grow, learn, and play with confidence. We are open at any time to suggestions to upgrade or optimize our system for abuse prevention. If you have recommendations or would like to discuss this topic further please never hesitate to reach out.

Fussbally understands that safety is paramount. The club implements stringent policies to protect players, fostering a culture of respect and accountability. Every coach, volunteer, and staff member undergoes thorough background checks and receives training to recognize and address potential signs of abuse. These checks are updated annually.

Beyond Background checks we take pride in closely vetting all of our staff before hireling. All staff members are professionals that have gone through multiple rounds of interviews, and references are checked to ensure that kids are exposed to only positive influences

Prevention starts with knowledge. Fussbally conducts regular workshops for staff to promote awareness about healthy boundaries, effective communication, and the importance of reporting any concerns. By empowering everyone involved, the club ensures that potential issues are addressed before they escalate.

Fussbally prioritizes transparency and communication. The club has established a clear reporting system for any concerns or incidents, offering both anonymity and swift action. This approach reassures parents and players that their well-being is taken seriously.

Anti-Bullying Policy

Fussbally Soccer Club is committed to providing players a fun, positive, and secure environment in which to learn and enjoy the game of soccer. We do not tolerate bullying at any practice, game or other Fussbally sanctioned event. We will promote a TELLING atmosphere. This means that anyone who knows that bullying is taking place is expected to report the incident. Players and parents should be assured that they will be supported when bullying is reported.

Bullying is defined as conduct, gestures or comments which are insulting, intimidating, humiliating, hurtful, malicious, degrading or otherwise offensive to a player, group of players and/or teammates, and which create a hostile or intimidating environment, or which negatively affects a player’s physical and/or emotional well-being. Bullying is any written, verbal or physical act, or any electronic communication, whether it is a single incident or a series of incidents that results in intentional pain and distress to the victim.

A child may indicate he or she is being bullied through various signs and symptoms. While some children are prone to report bullying to their parents, coaches or adults, others will not, due to fear, intimidation or other factors. Coaches and parents should be aware of possible signs indicating that bullying may be taking place. These signs and behaviors could indicate other problems, but bullying should be considered a possibility and should be investigated.

For a list of potential signs of bullying please consult this list.

1. Parents should report bullying incidents to the team coach or manager. If the problem persists, reach out to the Fussbally Director or Executive Director. If necessary and appropriate, police may be consulted.

2. In all cases of reported bullying, parents of the player who was bullied shall be informed immediately and may be asked to meet with the respective team coach and/or coaching director to discuss the incident. In all cases, strict confidentiality shall be maintained. It is not our goal to make a public example of reported incidents.

3. The negative behavior must be investigated and the bullying stopped immediately. The parents of any player who is reported to be bullying will be contacted immediately by the respective team coach, coaching director, or Fussbally director and asked to meet to discuss the incident to help the bully or bullies change their behavior.

1. In a first offense situation involving bullying, an attempt will be made to encourage the bully (or bullies) to modify their behavior for their benefit, for the benefit of the person bullied, and for the team. An attempt will be made by the coach, manager, or parent(s) to reconcile the situation between players (age and level of maturity and or severity of offense must be considered).

2. If the bullying persists, disciplinary action against a player may be taken by the team coach and/or Fussbally Executive Director which may include, but is not limited to, immediate suspension from participation in practices or game(s) for a period of time.

3. After the incident/incidents have been investigated and addressed, the situation will continue to be monitored by the respective team coach, team manager, and players’ parents to ensure the problem is resolved.

Air Quality Policy

Air quality can impact players’ ability to play a cardio-heavy sport like soccer safely. Due to the possibility of mountain forest fires and poor ozone level days in Fussbally coaches should follow the following procedures based on conditions. The Club will use purpleair.com to monitor daily air quality.

• Should levels rise to 150 or higher for an extended period of time, practices and games may be shortened

• Should levels rise to 200 or higher for an extended period of time, practices and games will be cancelled

Certain populations’ sensitivities to this type of air quality can vary and we encourage those who do not feel comfortable to communicate with their coach if they are not comfortable with their player attending outdoor sessions/games during poor air quality without fear of any repercussions.

Weather Policy

Fussbally’s approach to weather-related decisions reflects our commitment to providing a safe, consistent, and dependable experience for all players and families. We believe that kids thrive with structure—and that includes knowing their training is on unless there is a clear safety concern.

We make every effort to hold sessions as scheduled. Training is only canceled in the event of extreme weather or unsafe field conditions (e.g., lightning, heavy snowfall, or field closures). Light rain, cold, or heat typically do not result in cancellation

Each team coach is the directly responsible person for the safety of the group of players they have care over and must act accordingly in adverse weather conditions to protect every player from harm.

Should there be any lightning within a 6 mile radius of a training/game facility, all activities are suspended. Coaches will instruct all players to seek shelter in covered facilities or in cars as appropriate and available. Activities may resume once 30 minutes have passed from the final lightning strike within the 6 mile radius.

Always use common sense when it comes to weather risk. Though the technology solutions available to all coaches are very good tools, they are not 100% foolproof. If you see lightning and/or hear thunder, and your weather app does not match what you are observing, again, err on the side of caution and seek shelter.

The risk of heat related illness from vigorous sports activity increases with the temperature. The body generates heat which cannot be dissipated readily when the ambient temperature exceeds 85 degrees F, depending upon the humidity. Hot weather is considered at any point where the Heat Index reaches or exceeds 90. Coaches should follow the following procedures based on conditions:

Heat Index up to 89°: Normal Play. Regular hydration patterns

Heat index of 90°- 95°: Mandatory water breaks every 25 minutes.

Heat index of 96°-104°: Mandatory water breaks every 15 minutes.

Heat index over 105° (at start of training): All outside activity cancelled

Misbehavior Policy

At Fussbally, we believe great players are also great teammates.

Our misbehavior conduct policy helps every child feel safe, supported, and focused while learning. From minor disruptions or serious incidents, we respond with fairness, consistency, and care.
