How our group trainings work

How Fussbally Group Training Works

Fussbally runs year-round in small groups (6–8 players) to maximize touches, feedback, and progress. Our level systemand curriculum are designed to build week over week so players improve without starting from scratch.

  • Progression you can feel: Players typically remain in a level 9–15 months to master techniques and concepts before advancing.

  • Structured curriculum: Each session focuses on one specific theme; each level covers 12 core themes so players learn the most important game concepts and techniques in a complete arc.

  • Season & surfaces: All winter training is indoors on futsal courts with futsal balls. Spring, summer, and fallsessions run outdoors.

Two training types:

  • Game Intelligence — learning to make the right choices fast.

  • Technical Training — learning the execute the choices technically correctly.

(Details below.)

Game Intelligence VS Technical Training

Our Game Intelligence training focuses on making the right choices fast. Game Intelligence training, which starts at Level 3 and goes all the way to Level 10, covers topics such as “Am I open?” or “Should I pass or dribble?” for beginner levels, and moves toward more advanced content like switching the point of attack or defending in groups as levels progress. Each training session has one clear concept we are helping kids understand and master.

Our technical trainings focus on helping players learn specific technical skills in each session. Each session focuses on one of the following areas: receiving, shooting, passing, dribbling, and their application in 1v1 situations. An example session in Level 3 would be the L-turn, which falls into the subcategory of dribbling skills. A Level 6 session example would be working on finishing crosses, which falls under the subcategory of shooting techniques. This proven method of skills development is unique in colorado and helps kids increase their ability faster than any other program.
